The temperature is the life of the most basic environmental parameters. Temperature measurement and control system has been widely applied in practice. Such as thegreenhouse temperature control, centralized heating control, temperature control of the hyperthermia system. Conventional temperature control methods to control the effect is not ideal, the control accuracy is not high, time-consuming and long, only with less precision occasion. With the development of control theory in recent years, the theory of intelligent control and intelligent control theory combined with classical control theory to applications in the temperature control system, a certain amount of control effect.With the development of EDA technology FPGA more widely used, the use of the FPGA design controller, not only greatly reduced the number of devices, but also has a flexible design, field programmable, and debug simple and small size. Of FPGA controller either as a separate control chip module, control unit module as a whole control system, but also can be embedded into the on-chip programmable system.In summary, this paper presents a FPGA-based real fuzzy self-tuning PID controller design. Combine their advantages on the basis of the analysis of the theory of PID control and fuzzy control theory the basic principles of fuzzy self-tuning PID controller. Firstly, the fuzzy controller input and output fuzzy and anti-fuzzification method, fuzzy control rules to determine the synthesis method of reasoning, using MATLAB fuzzy toolbox to draw the fuzzy controller output lookup table. Finally, the fuzzy controller and PID controller design improved integrated design, fuzzy self-tuning PID controller. The advantages of this control algorithm is automatic line adjustment of the parameters of PID controller using fuzzy controller makes PID controller from the dependence of the control object model to adapt to real-time changes of the control object.FPGA-based smart temperature control system, an FPGA to control the core and VHDL programming, top-down design methodology, in accordance with the ideas of the modular design of each module, coupled to the integration of the entire system to reach a temperature control purpose. Finally, the resistance furnace controlled object, EP2C35, the FPGA as the core device, combined with the temperature sensor DS18B20, keyboard, digital tube and solid-state relay device design to achieve a single-loop furnace fuzzy PID control system.
