WEB3D is the product that generated with the development of the Internet and virtualreality technology, which aims to create a3D virtual world on the Internet. Presently, theemergence of various WEB3D development platform, such as: virtools, vrp and webmax,makes it become a wide range of applications in the fields of e-commerce, distance education,engineering technology, computer-aided design and so on.This paper research WEB3Dmodeling technology combined with the development of the engineering incident system.This thesis firstly describes the research status of the virtual training the WEB3D3DScenes and optimization techniques; then introduced some norms related to the WEB3Dmodeling techniques; Finally complet the design and development of the undergroundengineering incident management system with the WEB3D modeling techniques. The mainreserch contents are as follows:Real-time rendering of three-dimensional objects on WEB needs better networktransmission speed the client must have strong graphics capabilities, especially when handlingthe light and shadow information, it requires the client to have a excellent computer hardwareconfiguration. In order to reduce the dependence of the bandwidth and client hardware, thispaper describes a simple mode of production of the three-dimensional model based on WEBenvironment, including the production of model building and materials, textures, animations,etc. In order to reduce the workload of processing the real-time light and shadow informationon client, prior "paint" the light and shadow information of the scene on the texture using thebaking technology.In The WEB3D display of large scenes, as the complexity of the model is inconsistent,there wil be a halt and flicker in the scene conversion. So this paper research and applied theLOD(Level Of Detail) technology, according to client's viewing angle and distance, show thethe different levels of detail of viewport model.
