The classification technology that high pressure water jet detects and recognizes target material is an original technological innovation. It is mainly through multiple nozzles of linear array which shoot pulse water jet to impact target material. And use the corresponding sensors to collect and process the reflected sound signal to achieve accurate identification and classification of the target material. Now the technology is in its infancy. Preliminary the factors of affecting the detection result are injection pressure P, moving speed V, target distance L, injection and sound detection angle0and the linear position S.Therefore we need to set up the experimental platform for a large number of actual measurement and comparison test and optimize various parameters. This thesis is mainly around structuring experimental platform of multi-nozzle high-pressure water jet target material detecting to study. The jobs we have done are as follows:Firstly, considering the characteristics of eachparameter, we determine the variable agency program to meet the various parameter values within the scope of the design requirements, make the aided design using Solidworks2010software. We has completed a single nozzle body, nozzle, the sensor fixture and its angle and position adjustment device, the target distance regulating device, detecting mobile devices, high pressure shunt and overall rack design, and establish three dimensional models of the various components for assembly. In addition, we select high-pressure pump, electric push rod, solenoid valves, acoustic sensors and other accessories.Secondly, we make component models into SolidWorks Simulation softwareon and make finite element analysis on the strength of the key structural. In addition, we establish the internal flow field model of high-voltage shunt, import Gambit and make meshing, use the Fluent software to make flow numerical simulation analysis on the internal flow field model of high voltage shunt. Considering the analysis results, we optimize the design and re-modeling on the various components.Finally, use the functions of Solidworks software, make the part model into fabrication drawingsand and produce the experimental platform. With the assistance of the project team members, we test the reliability of the devices by experiment.Throughout the full text, in this thesis we make the exploratory study on the multi-nozzle high-pressure water jet target material detection experiment platform and manufacture in-kind. Theoretical studies and experimental tests show that the equipment meet the design requirements basically and can provide protection for the next step of the project research.
