In the modern manufacturing enterprise, the equipment layout design plays an important role for controlling the cost of logistics. The logistics efficiency will be increased and the production cost will be reduced in the preferable equipment layout planning. With the development of technology and the increasingly fierce market competition, the equipment layout in the factory has been more and more attention.The thesis analyses the equipment layout problem in the factory according to the characteristic of manufacturing, which including establishing the mathematical model, programming for solving the genetic algorithm and building the layout system. Details are as follows:Firstly, the thesis establishes the mathematical models for one line layout and multi-line layout according to their characteristic and restrains in the factories.Secondly, the thesis puts forward the genetic algorithm which can solve the problem of one line equipment layout and multi-line equipment layout. Based on the real coding, the thesis uses the improved genetic mutation strategy and detailed analysis of the impact of various genetic parameters on the influence of the algorithm convergence.Thirdly, by using the software of SQL server, C++programming language and C++builder software, we had been building the layout program system. Using it, we can solve the one line equipment layout problem and multi-line equipment layout problem. According to the different parameter of genetic algorithm, we can obtain the different layout result. At the same time, this system also supports manual layout functions and the results will be displayed in the interface.Fourthly, this paper constructs a perfect model based on the layout problem. After many experiment of the layout system and compared with the perfect model, the system is proved to be practical.Finally, by summing up the full-text content, we have some prospect about further work and find some shortage of place in need of improvement.
