The management of college fixed assets relates to improving the utilization of the equipment, to the safety of school assets, as well as to the purchasing, updating, maintenance of school fixed assets and so on. In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the management of the fixed assets, we used to use computer management system. But this only computer management system will not be enough in all kinds of examination and management conditions. With the appearance of RFID technology, the traditional bar code label is replaced by RFID label, we will open a new era of fixed assets management.Based on the characteristics of fixed asset management, the analysis through the college process management of fixed assets and the application of RFID and ZigBee technology, A RFID and ZigBee of Fixed Assets Management System is designed. The paper gives the overall system structure, RFID readers and ZigBee sensor data acquisition node, the master node and other network hardware circuit design etc.In the hardware part, we select PHILEIPS's MF-RC500 controller to control the RFID reader chip and TI's CC2430 chip embedded 8051CPU the SOC node controller for the system data to improve the intelligence network nodes and nodes working reliability; In the data part the data transmission with IEEE802.15.4 standard is selected. Data transmission is safe and reliable, system interference is improved. Finally, the design of the system is simulated and the test results meet the design requirements.
