This article primarily focuses on the introduction of time synchronization strategy based on the existing circumstances of various types of transmission networks.According to the current status quo of transmission bearer network used in Zhejiang Mobile TD base station, the article completes the function of transmission network time synchronization and the feasibility study of network upgrade. It also proposes the solution of time synchronization based on TD base station. The article's main work and results are as follows:1. Comparing and analyzing the protocol of frequency and time synchronization. Compare the choice of clock source of isoEthernet and the network model, port status, key technology of IEEE1588V2 protocol.2. After researching the pattern of time synchronization of SDH, PTN, GPON and OTN, the article proposes time synchronization deployments and solutions. Analyze the pros and cons between BC model and TC model in 1588V2 and then proposes the development recommendation: using TC+OC model and TC+BC model.3. According to the time synchronization protocol test result of PTN, PTN-E and SDH, the article proposes the optimal standard of the time bearer network. Through the time synchronization provided by base station, it can greatly reduce the GPS module and GPS antenna which brings much economic benefit.Through the time synchronization function provided by transmission network, it effectively solves the problem of installing GPS devices. Transmission network provides backup time input for GPS time synchronization which effectively reduces risk of GPS failure. According to the network running conditions, we can choose transmission network time synchronization for GPS devices which can greatly reduce the installation and maintenance costs of GPS devices.
