Design And Implementation Of The Personnel Management System Based On Workflow Vocational Colleges

The system and teaching methods of senior professional education are changing. This reform is to cause great changes of the personnel structure in higher vocational school. Therefore, the related processes of their personnel management (PM) also need to adjust accordingly. These schools are in urgent need of the PM system (PMS), which has the characteristices of automation and intelligent. This kind of PMS can help to improve the efficiency and the scientific level of the personnel management. Having the high degree of automation, intelligent and the excellent human-computer interaction skills, the PMS based on workflow (WfPMS) is natural to be the first choice of the solution of the personnel management problems.In order to making the personnel management system based on workflow (WfPMS) can meet the requirements which the higher vocational school requires an automatic and intelligent personnel management system, we have researched the basic theroy and technolongies of workflow. Moreover, a unit has a large number of staff, the complex personnel structure, and the teachers have extensive sources. Combined with the characteristics, the subject has gone into the structure of PMS, the relevant technical standards and reference model of WfMC. The Workflow-based Personnel Management System V1.0 (WfPMS) is designed. The vital functions are implemented. The WfPMS adopted the B/S (Browser / Server) mode, made use of the MVC design mode in Java development platform, and took the Struts frame and Hibernate frame as the base. We chose MySQL5.1, which is powerful and easy-to-use. We combined with the Struts1.2, Hibernate3.3 and jBPM4.4 a professional workflow engine. The work is done in the MyEclipse Enterprise WorkBench 8.5. In this environment, we implemented the WfPMS V1.0.The system utilized the jBPM4 engine to implement the reference model of WfMC. We designed some fairs of PM, and realized the typical workflow Leave. Based on the basic functions, we specialize in the problem that the personnel management of unofficial personnel who widely exist in our country, and then we designed and implement the relevant workflows which are about distribution of the post, performance evaluation and allowance of the post. In the realization and testing, combined with the habit of Chinese, we optimized the human-computer interaction performance. As the result of our hard work, the experience of user is better.
