In radar and communications systems, Transmit-Receive switch (T/R switch) is an indispensable part. The T/R switch described on this paper enables send and receives channels to share a pair of antennae, and significantly reduces the volume and weight of the system, particularly suitable for applications in airborne radar systems, it makes sense for the high-power broadband shortwave communicant to achieve miniaturization and light and all solid state. In this paper, the main contents are described as follow:1. Starting from PIN diode equivalent circuit model, analyses its working principle as a switcher, get out of the principle of equivalent circuit parameters which has a critical impact on switching performance in a range of parameters. Discussing how to select PIN diodes which work on High power conditions, inferred reduces the insert losses T/R switch open channel and increases switching channel isolation, as well as improved bandwidth.2. Through on basic of PIN diode switch circuit structure for analysis comparison, using two road PIN diode series-parallel switch constitute a group single pole double throw (STDP) implementation transceiver switch function of circuit structure that has been determined, through on isolation degrees, insert loss, VSWR, switch speed and the power capacity indicators of analysis, combination the transceiver switch of actual work frequency characteristics, forward and backward work parameter of all channel PIN diode that has been determined. At the same time based on the bias control circuit designing and analyse, the structure of the control circuits and related component parameters that has been determined.3. Based on the analysis of the calculated PIN diode forward and backward bias value, as well as some specific requirements for control circuits, internal power system based on power supply interfaces that have been discussed, the specific parameters, and design power system that has been determined.4. Through a combination of theoretical calculation and simulation of computer software, the circuit simulation model has been built that for software consisting of PIN diode of single pole double throw switch, the best parameter value of components have been determined through circuit simulation and optimization。By loading power on the actual sample and testing a wide range of environmental showed that samples comprehensive performance stability, the technical indicators fully meet the design requirements.
