With the development of communication technology and electronic devices, SAW filter (Surface Acoustics Wave Filter, SAWF) is widely used in mobile communications systems and positioning systems and other areas. With the development of communication technology, SAWF set a higher performance requirements such as frequency response close to ideal, low insertion loss, sidelobe suppression as large as 40dB above ensure quality of the signal, the passband ripple of less than 1dB and so on. In order to design the high-quality SAWF need to optimize the bandwidth, insertion loss properties. This article focuses on studies of broadband low insertion loss SAW filter design methods.This paper introduces the interdigital transducer frequency response of the basic theory and model, the characteristics of SAWF etc., in this based on two uniform interdigital transducer consisting of SAW filter and a uniform interdigital transducer with an apodized interdigital consisting of transducer SAW filter. The frequency response characteristics are compared and discussed. Finally, use the withdrawal weighting transducer to the design of SAWF. Then derives the formula for calculating the insertion loss, and simulation results show that the withdrawal weighting method can be used for the design of SAW filter. This article focuses on the frequency response of SAW filter characteristics, as well as broadband communication system for low insertion loss SAW filter.
