Maritime radar target recognition is an very important develop trend among the research of the radar. To distinguish between multiple targets in the parts of the ocean from the point of view, distance has some practical value. For the normal monopulse radar, it is hard to distinguish the multiple targets located in one resolution cell and the same beam. For this, High-Resolution radar used for radar target recognition has made great process. The paper aims to study the signal detection of radar echo form two or more maritime targets. To extract the target angle information and distance information is proved by Matlab/Simulink simulation, and improve the distance information and angle information between the targets.Linear Frequency-Modulated(LFM) signal is a kind of high-resolution signal by earlier study and most widely used. The bandwidth and timewidth by LFM signal could be independent choose to obtain good distance resolution and speed resolution. In this paper, we used the LFM signal as a radar transmitter signal. Base on Matlab/Simulink, the digitized processing model of signals of LFM pulse compression radars is established, to achieve high distance resolution by increasing the bandwidth, and the specific process of module construction is also given.Angle resolution is decided by width of radar antenna beam. We use the method of single beam rotation search in this paper. Reduce the width of antenna beam as far as possible and use the certain relationship between the echo amplitude and the distance of target to extract the angle information of the target by setted the threshold. Optimization the angle measurement accuracy and improve the angle resolution. Base on Matlab/Simulink, establish the model of maritime targets, simulation the process of measured angle, achieved by simulation.
