Rotational speed is one of the factors, which has a direct impact on the flight stability of aerial dynamic object. In the research, design and test process on aerial dynamic object, rotational speed measurement is a key technology, which can be used to analyze whether the design of aerial dynamic object meets the requirements, its performance quality, as well as the goal to improvement.In this paper, in view of specific application requirements to measure rotational speed of aerial dynamic object, a rotational speed measurement system of low-cost and small-size is designed. Rotational speed is calculated by collecting the data of axial acceleration. Measuring range and precision are improved by feedback programmable amplifying circuit. Measuring data is saved in external FLASH. The system achieves rotational speed measurement and storages in the whole flying process of aerial dynamic object. In addition, the paper also researches the feasibility to measure attitude angle by using acceleration sensor.Based on the application background, the paper analyzes the main task, measuring principle of rotational speed and attitude angle, and system technical indices. On this basis, the overall design plan is presented. Then, the design of hardware and software of rotational speed measurement system is performed. The core of system is LPC2366, with acceleration sensor ADXL326 and FLASH as peripheral hardware. Feedback programmable amplifying circuit and RS232 port are also designed. Software achieves the various functions of the system, including data acquisition, FLASH storage, rotational speed measurement and attitude angle measurement. At last, according to the test in rotary table, obtain the results of moving average filter and measuring data.The measuring range and precision of the rotational speed measurement module in the system can meet the design requirements with high stability and strong anti-overload ability. The system has a wide range of application in terms of rotational speed measurement of aerial dynamic object. The attitude angle measurement module of the system verifies the theory, further more research on precision and stability will be meaningful.
