With the traffic safety situation is increasingly serious. Intelligence Traffic System are increasingly applied. Speed-measuring radar has become the trend of technological development for its high measurement precision, moderate equipment cost, easy to installation and maintenance, all-weather working. Looking at the current domestic traffic speed-measuring radar market, foreign products are generally expensive and inconvenient to use and maintenance, domestic products have not been widely identified by the market for they entering the market late. Therefore, the market urgently needs an speed-measuring radar product with high measurement precision, high reliability and easy to use and maintenance.This paper first introduces the development status and application prospects of the traffic speed-measuring radar, then determine the overall scheme of the radar and the implementation of each module according to the technical indicators of the radar. The speed-measuring using CW radar system and using DSP for signal processing. Microstrip antenna emission 35.1 GHz signals generated by millimeter wave transceiver components, Microstrip antenna receiving the target echo signal and transmit it to the signal processing unit through the millimeter wave transceiver components to processing it to get the speed of the target. The signal processing unit then transmit the information of the target speed to photographed unit, if a vehicle is speeding, the photographed unit capture the image of the speeding vehicles and record corresponding information.In this paper, the CCS software is used for DSP software programming. Finally, we debug the signal processing circuit of the radar and test it in the traffic scene, the results show that the speed-measuring radar is meeting the actual demand.
