With the development of rail transport in China, Transport capacity and transport efficiency of urban rail transport system has become the most important indicators. It is significant to improve the efficiency of rail transit, by setting up a unified and integrated urban rail traffic database system on the basis of field data research and literature survey, provide accurate, consistent, reliable data for the distributed simulation and evaluation system.First, this paper analyzes the simulation system and database technology development at home and abroad, thus demonstrating the significance to establish rail transportation simulation system and the significance of database systems.
