In recent years, the demand for data communication and multimedia services is increasing. More and more intelligent terminals appear, data intensive applications gradually become the core of the content. Rich media, HD video, real-time business data and other services directly lead to the global mobile data traffic demand is continuing explosive growth.Mobile communication technology is undergoing tremendous changes in history and gradually changing people's lives. According to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) predicted that in 2020 the global demand for data traffic will reach nearly 100 times in 2015, while some hot spots and even up to 1000 times. At the same time, with the increase of data traffic, the global operators have put forward new requirements for the application of mobile communication technology.New technologies continue to be applied, the new equipment to join the network in the network planning and design of the project has also put forward new challenges.This paper will focus on the LTE-A 4G network capacity simulation and based on the capacity of network cell data provided by China Mobile to carry out the work of capacity simulation. LTE-A network, namely Term Evolution-Advanced Long network, it is a kind of evolution on the basis of LTE network. LTE-A is a backward compatible technology, fully compatible with LTE. LTE-A network due to the addition of carrier aggregation, multiple input multiple output (MIMO), and smart antenna technology to achieve high data transmission rate, high spectrum efficiency, lower link delay. This subject is based on a deep understanding of these key technologies, give full consideration to the impact of the technology on the network performance of TDD/FDD resource allocation in LTE-A network hybrid network under the condition of power control process carefully to make theoretical analysis,according to choose suitable propagation model of business model characteristics of the planning area, calculate the network planning area,summed up the LTE-A network capacity model, and put forward a feasible simulation scheme.LTE-A network capacity simulation based on Monte Carlo method,through simulation in continuous time on the mobile station in the network state to the method of network analysis, a detailed description is in a period of continuous time network system, considering the user state,the generation and the end of business and resource management process.A simulation process is composed of two parts (Drop) and Snapshot(snapshot). One of the Drop simulation contains multiple Snapshot processes. Snapshot is a basic unit of simulation. Simulation parameters of Drop and Snapshot numbers in a simulation are determined by the simulation parameters. Each Drop is independent of random events.Continuous relationship between the two Snapshot through the business model, the transmission loss and the movement model of the mobile station. Monte Carlo simulation is done through the data statistics of multiple Drop simulation results. In the implementation process, the optimization and adjustment of the application feedback for each scene,in order to get the most accurate and optimal network performance simulation results.
