Research And Design Of Broadband Access Network Management System Based On EOC

With the development of broadband and triple-play implementation, the importance ofbroadband access network management has become increasingly prominent. Especiallywhen the whole country is taking digital translation, cable television digitization makes thecable television business, and scale undergo tremendous changes, the most obvious way isthe network transformation, while the previous two-way user access technologies such asCMTS and Cable, FTTB and LAN, can not meet the market competition and the sounddevelopment, the maturity of two-way access technology called EOC (Ethernet overCoax), has brought a new opportunity for two-way user access and two-way integratedbusiness's positive development.Therefore, EOC-based network management has become an important issue after theintroduction of technology EOC. EOC network management system does not change theexisting EPON management method, the original ethernet frame format also has notchanged. From the network structure, the system just draws EOC transmission technologyinto the final100meters incoming end. The EOC structure, network model and functionimplementation are all important parts to consider.The EOC-based broadband access network management system studied in this paper,proposes a new solution in the case of EPON+EOC integrated management, unlike theformer EPON management system, the new one joins and manages the entire network viamaster/subagent. The article first introduces the research background, briefly shows the useof EOC technology and SNMP as well as the function and mode of EOC network,expounds the overall design and detailed design of management system under the newnetwork architecture, weightily explains the software module and the system functionrealization, describes authentication and topological realization about CBAT and CNU,finally carries on the test to the system and verifies the network management function.
