Recent years have witnessed the great development of information systems designed by government, enterprises and organizations of different levels. These systems usually involve higher security requirement or confidential data, and consisting of both confidential network and internal network. Thus, the realization of safer data transmission between two networks, in accordance with the requirements from the State Secrecy Bureau, has become a serous problem to be solved in China? s information construction. Therefore, it is of urgency and significance that a one-way secure transmission system with great safety, high efficiency and stability be developed between confidential network and internal network. To tackle such problems as low security, inefficiency and high cost in traditional transmission systems, this study explores the design of software and hardware systems based on one-way transmission system with the application of optical fiber communication, optical splitter, data reduction and other key technologies, together with help of the optical gap system; The study shows that a desired result has been achieved in safe insulation and high speed communication in the context of one-way transmission. The achievements of the research are as follows:1. Based on the application features of the traditional secure transmission system and the existed problems, combined with the security demands of the information data, this studies exploits new technology in one-way secure data transmission between networks, and proposes the construction of software and hardware systems on basis of the one-way optical gap transmission system.2. To satisfy the special requirements stipulated by the State Secrecy Bureau on the physical insulation of confidential information system, this study analyzes the technical characteristics of optical fiber communication and optical splitter, proposes a one-way data transmission between two networks on the basis of the optical gap system.3. To meet the practical needs of the increasing data exchange between computer systems, this study probes the possibility of adopting mature and cost-effective gigabit optical fiber to transmit massive data effectively even with a mere add of one-way optical shutter. This project is carried out under the background of ?the Construction of a Wisdom City?, a recent strategic promotion deployment put forward by Ningbo municipal government. The application of this new technology in the internal government data system realizes an 80G real-time automatic data transmission, bringing to a close of the record in which a manual way of data transmission from internet to internal network is involved. This system is expected to enhance the security, real-time and efficiency of the internal computer network system. With a further verification and recognition from the State Secrecy Bureau and relevant research institutions, this is a possibility for a wider application of the research result in the construction of secret computer information systems in government departments, enterprises and organizations all over the country.
