Statistical Process Control, is a process control system based on mathematical statistical method. Quality-control based statistical process control production management monitor system is to change the"post inspection to quality"carried out by the quality inspectors of the production factory to"control in advance", so as to realize"prevention first and combination of prevention and inspection", eliminate the possible cause of defective products in advance and achieve the target of"total quality management". Under the tide of economy globalization and market internationalization, the manufacturing industry of the world is going through significant strategic reorganization, and the fierce competition urges the enterprises to take advantage of all manufacturing resources that they can get. Many manufacturing enterprises transfer their focus on improving their core competitiveness, and they pay more attention to their advantageous business, seek for greater perfection and make their development based on information technology and business processes with features of flexibility, high sensitivity and integration. The core of the manufacturing enterprises is production system, and the formation of the production information system needs to make comprehensive informationization management and control to all production processes. Reduction of production cost and improvement of market competitiveness have become the objective of the manufacturing enterprises.The system is formed with C/S (Client/Server) structure using VC++, SQL2000, IfAX5.0 and some other development tools. The core of the system is C/S (Client/Server) structure. Since C/S uses paired point-to-point structural mode and network protocol that is applicable for local area network and in high safety level, the system can be used safely and meanwhile, the program can output the control diagrams. Upon putting into service of the program, the statistical process control system will be linked with PLC of the equipments, and the system can send real-time early-warning messages to the related personnel. The advantages of C/S structure are obvious since it can achieve high-efficiency, stability and safety, which are important and significant for the production operations of the enterprise. Once the quality-based statistical process control production management monitor system introduced here is established, it will meet the demand of Novo Nordisk (China) Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. to make on-line monitor to all processes for production of insulin syringes, and meanwhile provide software system which can make statistical measurement to the production data of any time duration. This system includes several functional modules, such as data collection, process monitor, data analysis, special report, etc, forming the on-line quality control system of the product manufacturing process. By making stable monitor to the key quality parameters and making analysis to the process capacity and performance, the management to the production is changed from post-test examination to prevention and control in advance, which will effectively improve the product conformity rate, greatly reduce the product cost and ensure the stability of product quality. This system has successfully passed the production quality validation and it is proved that this system is applicable for the production activities. In addition, it will only provide data records but not control the equipments, therefore its out-of-service will not affect the production activities, which is an advantage of this system. Generally, the measured data will be divided into many average values by the system, and then the management personnel can timely obtain necessary product quality and manufacturing information, so that the development target of the Group"Total Quality Management"can be achieved.
