Based On The The Pi Database Server Real-time Monitoring System For Research And Development

Along with the development of intelligent power grid, the strategy of power system information degree unceasing enhancement, the electric power enterprise information system server , network equipment information equipment , the importance of increasing more and more is also high. So, operation and maintenance of information systems work the higher requirements.In this Paper,Firstly, the current operation and maintenance problems at daily work are described from three angles of the attendant, the system administrator and the existing software in use. Then the database server running PI-based monitoring software to enrich the existing means of operation and maintenance is designed and developed to get rid of the predicament of operation and maintenance work. The design ideas from the software is discussed, There are three modules in the system, including data picking module which acquisiting the server real-time parameters, PI-DataBase adapter module which parsering and storing the data of the data picking module produced, monitor module which monitoring the status of server. The implementation framework of the monitoring software is designed, the configuration functions (including system configuration parameters, alarm configuration and monitoring server configuration), applications (including real-time monitoring, real-time data display, historical data show, log access, and extensions) are described. Finally, the system testing, including functional testing, performance testing and security testing, is made.The PI-based database server performance monitoring software design ideas and technology roadmap, and demonstrate the implementation of the monitoring software functionality are discussed detailedly in this papper. Proposed to implement server monitoring software to run a new way of thinking, the use of PI parameters of the database server is running to save the real-time data and historical data, to achieve a server monitoring, while providing for the long-run analysis of the data support.
