As the technology of CIM / XML and SVG development and maturity, they have been widely used in electric power system. PI System, as an enterprise management platform of real-time and historical data, is used successfully in the power system. If the combination of this technology building real-time data platform for enterprise information management and will build to a new level.The CIM is an information model which describes the logical architecture and relationship of all objects in power system. It provides a logical, consistent description of power system independent with platform for each application, using common XML as format of data object coding and transmission. SVG is W3C recommended standards for the formal, it is a two-dimensional images using XML to describe the language, also has become a power system's graphics standards. The PI system as a real-time and historical data storage center,store a large number of real-time and historical data, including the SCADA system data. Starting from the CIM model to explain XML, RDF and other relevant theory and applications, introduces the CIM/XML, SVG, and PI database usage in the power system. By studying the technology of CIM/XML stored in relational database , Implement the storage of CIM/XML in the relational database . Finally, design and develop PI application based on the Integration technology of SCADA's figure,data and model.
