This paper focused on the applied of machine vision in the field of Diecutting.Diecutting is used widely.It can be cutted into various shapes as the needs of users with various materials by the die-cutting machine. But the die slice may miss because machine may take away it. Then it would cause the product became substandard product. So there are many people to distinguish the product and pick out substandard product in the workshop. This paper believe that machine vision is a good method to solve the problem.This paper take out a system based on the personal computer with a camera,PLC,and nature light source, etc. the camera is a 130 million high-definition color industrial camera which is product by Huaqi Information Technology Development Co., Ltd, name is DLCW-L. The main job of the camera is to get the image,and take the image into digital image, then communicating with computor by USB. The computor analysis the image with labview, then draw a conclusion to PLC.The PLC can drive the Cylinder,the motor to do the action of picking out the bad. To read PLC and write PLC,the computor must know the agreement between the serial port and PLC. The PLC is FX series of Mitsubishi.Because the environment of industrial production is simple.and the Distinguish between background and objective is obvious. We can get the number of the slice point to judge the product.We use the neighbour tracking to get the number.We can also judge the product by the means of characteristic point.But,we can use the means of neighbour tracking to find the benchmark,then use the means of characteristic point matching to judge.The system do the job as distinguishing the dies. but there is more work need to do on the hardware and software.
