Study Of The Third Harmonic Detector Technology

In nature, objects with metal junction has nonlinear characteristics, it will produce harmonic waves and then radiate it when receives electromagnetic radiation, harmonic detector receives the harmonic waves to detect targets. In this background, this paper studies the harmonic detector. The main contents include the following aspects:Studies the mechanism of harmonic of metal junction objects.Creats physical model of the harmonic radiation of metal junction target, analyzes the radiation principle that targets with metal junction can produce harmonic waves, and summaries its radiation characteristic.Builds harmonic detector equation, tests the RCS of some typical nonlinear target. Studies the detection capability of the harmonic detector in the near-earth condintion.After the discussing of the advantages and disadvantages of a variety system of harmonic detector, and finally determines the chrip system. Designs and analyzes the key indicators of the receiver and transmitter.Basing on measured data, studies on the design and implementation of singal processing detector system. Analyzes the signal, does the simulation on Matlab. These designs are also implemented on ISE.
