Overall Harmonic Radar Technology

Harmonic radar receives the harmonic waves. It is different from the common radar. So, the effective target of harmonic radar is the nonlinear target with harmonic radiation characteristic. The harmonic wave of metal junction is the third harmonic wave, so metal junction is the effective target of harmonic radar.This paper studies the third harmonic radar on the background of dectction of metal junction.First, this paper studies on the work principle of harmonic radar taking metal junction for example, studies the effective target-harmonic radiation characteristic of nonlinear target, builds radiation model and harmonic radar equation, mainly studies the RCS and radar operating range.Second, this paper discusses the advangate and disadvantage of kinds of common radar system for harmonic radar, studies the system, parts and signal parameters, and discusses the key technologies of anomic radar, including the ability of harmonic wave inhibition of transimitter and the hamonic wave test of some typical targets.This paper also studies on the design and implementation of digital receiver and signal processing part, analyzes the signal, does the simulation on Matlab, which verified the correctness of the design. These designs are also implemented on QuartusII, and the feasibility of the design has been verified.At last, this paper improves the signal processing algorithm on spectrum correction, multi-period and multi-target, and also does the simulations.
