In order to develop further research in the field of wireless communication technology, while the broadband communication technology has become a new highlight, we need to establish an in-depth insight into the communication channel. So how to extract the wireless communication channel parameters, including channel delay, AOA, DOA, amplitude gain, Doppler shift, etc., based on the known measurable data has become a crucial research topic. This dissertation focuses on the extraction and calculation of important parameters (channel delay, AOA, DOA, amplitude gain, Doppler shift, etc.) in the broadband wireless communication channel. The methods discussed in this dissertation are designed for two major issues, spectral estimation and determined parameters estimation. The MUSIC (Multiple Signal Classification) algorithm is a commonly used method for spectral estimation while the EM (Expectation Maximization) algorithm and its derivative algorithm SAGE (Space-Alternating Generalized EM) are two common methods for determined parameters estimation. After analyzing the above algorithms and comparing their advantages and disadvantages, we identify the algorithm with the greatest ascendancy and establish a channel model to verify its feasibility and correctness.
