Based On C/S Structure Of The Warehouse Management Software Design And Implementation

As one of the key links in enterprise management, Warehouse Management has become the key point in the supply chains and is playing more and more important role during the whole management of supply chains with the development of informatization. However, without introducing science and informatization technology, some warehouse management still fill in tables on manual basis, which result in low efficiency of management; Some enterprises have made use of the management software which however couldn't adapt to the development of the modern warehouse management. As the development of Information Industry, computers have been applied in many aspects of the life. It is not only a possibility to manage enterprise warehouse with computers, but also needing a higher requirement.In this essay,the author takes the applying design of Business Letter Department's warehouse management system in Jinan Post Office as example, develops the system for warehouse management by using the mature database technology. The main functions of the system are:goods in and out of warehouse management, goods rejected management, inquiring goods in and out of warehouse, etc. The main characteristics of the system are:1. Putting forward the principles and framework for building the system through UML tool's analysis for the system as well as the research for framework of management system\designing database\operation procedure2. Using three layer C/S structure for managing logistics warehouse integrately, intelligently and cooperatively. The system has friendly interface and can be used conveniently. Developed and designed for the requirement of the professional stock clerk, the system realized the standard and intelligent management, raised the work efficiency of the enterprise.
