Web System Based On Sql Database Library

At the beginning, This thesis studies the research background and tendency of domestic and overseas library WEB system; analyses and demonstrates the theoretical and practical value of studying and applying this system. Traditional library collection has gradually adjusted its structure and service mode to adapt to the information needs of the growing society, so in this background the WEB system is under construction.It develops systems by understanding and using Studio 2005 platform and. NET Framework and AJAX, FLV and other new technologies. Based on the Brower/Server mode developed by ASP.NET 2.0 platform, it determines the database of SQLSwrver2000 for this system, and the configuration environment for the operating system is Windows XP/ 2000Server/2003 Server.The author has analyzed the actual needs during the library task and found that readers make more full use and sharing of the existing resources, and presented newer proposals to using the resources: i.e. they can use the library's information at any time, any places. Then the author analyses the feasibility of WEB System on this basis.In this thesis, it also works out a better solution and for this it has made a tentative software architecture which contains the framework of the background database. It offers a perfect solution by using computer and network techniques. So it will become the automation equipment and resource integration software in this library to establish a brand-new online study platform for readers by utilizing the LAN technology.To modularize the system's main function, aiming at"acquisition","cataloguing","book reserving"and"circulating"parts which will happen in the document management work, it designs all the functional modules. It realizes the coding of the system functional modules and corrects the mistakes in testing. All the dynamic management has been achieved, so the background management is safe, efficient, and concise.In the end of the thesis, the author has summarized his achievements, defects and expectations.
