Increasingly intense competition in an increasingly volatile market requires companies to continuously introduce new products, enterprises must be made to customer requirements fast response, while increasing the technical requirements of products, delivery time is also shorter and shorter, All of this technological capabilities of enterprises, technological capacity is a serious challenge, handmade craft will not be able to adapt to harsh competition in the market, companies need to establish process rapid response capability. Computer technology can effectively enhance their technical capacity, CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) technology designed to improve the efficient and effective means. Implementation of the CAPP system, promote enterprise information technology sector is an important subject of current development enterprise. CAPP system is developed computer-aided design software platform for a variety of areas of the object-oriented production and processing enterprises. Therefore, the processing technology for the design of different products, companies need a second in the CAPP system developed to meet the needs of the plant process design.Electrical equipment in our plant process design, we need a list of ingredients prepared and wire length calculation. To guide the operator for better off the assembly line, and reduce wasted wire. Cable table that the length of each wire tables, process design, the need to pass each wire node and add distance between nodes, and the results entered into the cable table. Material table is the total amount of products for all kinds of wires. Process design, process lines need to arrange the table to calculate the wire length, wire size according to a statistical type, then the total amount of products required input wires to the material table.In response to these problems, to design a wire automatically calculated software to ensure the correctness of process documents to improve efficiency, reduce labor costs. This thesis studies the wire length calculation system in the CAPP development platform, the software can complete its product information for wire calculating stored in the database and calls can automatically calculate each wire length, can automatically generate materials list and table data cable to the CAPP system and write the corresponding template.The software automatically calculates wire length through the functional test, the calculated data is correct. The use of the software not only improve the design efficiency, facilitate the process design, but also to ensure the correctness of process documents, reducing the difficulty of process design. Therefore, the software needs to meet the plant process design.
