The technology of image measurement is a newly rising technology in the domain of the deformation displacement measurement recent years. The displacement measurement commonly used displacement sensor device measurement in the traditional displacement measurement method. The image displacement measurement methods applied in earthquake simulation shaking table test for measuring deformation displacement of structure is still relatively lesser. The image measurement method is a complement of displacement sensor measurements.Using common digital camera photography images measurement is non-contact measurement, so that it does not have any effect of target structure characteristics and movement characteristics. The method is widely used in crack detection, bridge vibration, etc, but less power in shaking table model. This paper is to use a digital camera to complete the image measuring technique on the vibration table plane deformation displacement measurement. The paper concludes three points:(1) By the Lanzhou University of Technology earthquake simulation shaking table platform, the paper describes process of table debug and the main performance index of the basic performance test.(2) Printing a series of continuous interval point in the laboratory to simulate the deformation displacement of the structure and using MATLAB software programming to calculate center-of-mass coordinate of each mark point. Finally, calculate the actual displacement value of the mark point. The displacement calculated values are compared with measured values of displacement, verified the reliability and stability of the algorithm.(3) The elastic structure paste with park point will vibrate fro with vibration of the table in the commissioning. First, using digital cameras for video data collection in the process of vibration then put the video segmentation into continuous images. Final, using MATLAB software programming to calculate center-of-mass coordinate of each mark point. Finally, calculate the actual displacement value of the mark point. The results show that using this method can calculate the actual displacement value of the landmark.The detailed experimental data shows that this is an effective way of close non-contact measuring method of displacement, has some practical value.
