In order to effectively melt computer and network into the protection the management system and completely change the current value of the tedious work, it is very important that establishing a set of practical value setting management system with complete with a friendly interface according to the present situation of the value setting management of Chengdu Electric Power Bureau.The management system in this paper combines B / S mode with C / S combined mode, which can adopt the advantages of the two modes and avoid the defects of each modes. In details, the management, query and setting a single transfer function adopt B / S mode based on J2EE technology architecture. Setting calculations and setting value simulation are of C / S mode. The software should not only be easy to download and install, but also has the characteristic of automatic update. The master computer as setting calculation and application software dedicated database server is located in the Technology Information Center computer room. Servers usually have two ones and adopt the standby mode.The system will integrate the level dispatching agencies with county dispatching ones on protection setting work. In this system, network modeling, user management, fault calculation, setting calculation, fault simulation, management are melt into a unified platform which can improve the protection setting working level of automation and can lead the protection setting work from handwork times into the Internet epoch.
