With the computer hardware and software technology and the rapid development of broadband Internet technology, a variety of video production technology has been rapid development of video technology development and application of information technology is the most popular topics, 3G communications, digital television, high-definition television and broadband networks are focused on how to effectively handle and transmit video information to start the study. In the field of communications and broadcast digital video technology has been increasingly widely used, especially since the 1990s, mobile communications andInternet technology has been the rapid development of information and how to video information in multimedia mobile networks and the Internet effectively processing and transmission, has become a hot spot in China's information technology.This paper describes the high-definition digital video processing platform, the basic structure and working principle based on the successful design of a high-performance digital video processing platform, which will be collected through the semiconductor sensor parts of the video image information processing, high-definition output video images, and can support a variety of standard VGA output formats. This design of digital video processing platform sub-module include: camera output processing module, PLL clock generation networks, video pre-and post-processing the output video DAC module.This paper also introduces widely used CCD sensor and CMOS sensor in video field and compares their advantages and disadvantages.The issue gives definitions of frame,field,line,frame synchronous,line synchronous,frame valid and line valid.This paper gives system design of the input decode of the high-definition digital video processing platform, analysis the module in this system.Finally give the spec of test signals in this design.This design validates the Verilog code of the video input decode module through NC and matlab. We also use FPGA to test the code.All the results of the test methods prove the system design and Verilog code is correct.Through the software and hardware to validate, it is surely that the design is perfectly good work.
