| With the ramp up of electric power enterprises, the traditional information technology infrastructure would not match the growing business requirements. The demand rises ceaselessly but the platform keeps the same. State Grid Companies decided to implement the enterprise resource platform in the "Eleventh Five" information development planning period. The whole project consists of information network, data exchange, data center, application integration, enterprise portal. This will realize data through and longitudinal application integration.A large amount of data will be created in day-to-day business affairs. And the various departments and users from all levels are required to use these data to analyze the enterprise operation and make decision; however, the legacy automation system can't match this business requirement. This paper explains the Fujian Electric Power Company EP portal system implementation project, including analyzing current system capability, identify the client requirements and implement EP. Fujian Electric Power Company (FJEP) will start to use this senior EP to dress the issues base on the success of phase one ERP R/3 practice. The deliverables including business information data warehouse, employee portal, invest management system and SAP GUI, employee self service and employee work flow. This paper was composed base on the customer requirement analyzing and would make sure the whole project been carried out smoothly in time.[1]It's not easy to implement ERP correctly and with low cost, but it would lead you to the successful effective e-business. [2]ERP should not be a single system; it should be a systematic process to address daily operation data issues. The purpose of this project is to set up a SAP BW platform providing enterprise information analyzing and help management levels to make the efficient decision. The platform will integrate the recourses including: finance, equipment, HR, logistic, supply chain, etc. |
