Students Comprehensive Quality Evaluation System

The rapid development of the current social economy has proposed increasingly higher requirements for training talents. Colleges and universities, acting as the last stop of talent-training and the exit of the whole training system, play a very important role. How to cultivate college or university students and how to assess their comprehensive quality is becoming a predominant issue in the field of student management.This thesis, based on the existing problems in comprehensive quality evaluation of the present college and university students, studies the methods, algorithms and applications of the current commonly-used comprehensive evaluation, establishes a series of relatively scientific and reasonable indexes to test their comprehensive quality and create a system—Comprehensive Quality Evaluation System of College and University Students (CQESCUS), based on Web technology.In order to facilitate information management, B/S structure software system, JSP and SQL Server 2005 are widely applied in the system. CQESCUS is made up of Student Information Management system, Data Entry system, Evaluation Index Setup and Weight Computing system, Self-evaluation system, Comprehensive Evaluation system, Enquiry system and so forth. The research mainly discusses how to set up the evaluation system, index computing, data entry and management, and functional analysis and design of the system. In the end, tests and effect analysis are conducted to prove the initial objectives.Adhering to standard indexes to evaluate comprehensive quality of college and university students, this system functions as perfect rules and regulations for students to get rid of bad habits, promote their quality and well prepare themselves for bigger tasks ahead. Besides, it helps to improve the efficiency of student management through technical support and invigorate new vitality.
