Design And Development Of Teaching Quality Assessment System Based On Data Mining

Data mining can extract from the data set of interest, potential, and the available knowledge, and expressed as user-understandable form. The aim is to extract data from a large number of hidden in them, people do not know in advance, but is potentially useful information and knowledge. As data collection and data storage technology advances quickly, the amount of data that people have increased dramatically. The relative lag in the data analysis, people have to analyze massive amounts of data based on the needs of scientific research and decision-making will become increasingly urgent. The data mining is to mine vast amounts of data from a potentially valuable information technology.In recent years the rapid development of higher vocational colleges, the Ministry of Education to improve the management of teaching institutions, especially the development of the teaching quality assessment program. The program evaluation indicators are mostly qualitative indicators for assessing college difficult to grasp and operate. With data mining technology has been adopted by more and more areas, the education sector is no exception, using the technology for the assessment of teaching quality to provide a solution.This paper is the study of data mining technology in the teaching evaluation system applications. Divided into Introduction, analysis of data mining algorithms, an overview assessment of teaching quality, teaching quality assessment system design and implementation of data mining, case studies and conclusions of several parts.In the introduction section describes the background and significance of the topics of this paper to analyze the status of data mining technology research and application. From the side describes the problem studied in this paper the meaning and feasibility.Analysis of some data mining algorithms, the author of several commonly used by data mining algorithms detailed comparison and analysis, development of teaching evaluation to select the most appropriate algorithm for data mining system -decision tree algorithm.
