Internet of Things (IoT) has a high application prospects and academic research value, and now it has become the international research focus, and has been rising for Chinese national strategy. To construct IoT, one important question is how to deal with the massive complex data. IoT is composition by large number of sensor nodes, so the quantity of collecting data is quite large. How to extract, storage and process useful information from massive data is a big challenge in IoT which needs to be solved first. Therefore, the data processing becomes one of the core technologies of IoT research. The research content proposed in this thesis is one IoT framework based on intelligent nodes interaction, and for this framework a routing protocol which based on context awareness is presented.Firstly, the thesis introduces the research status of IoT and its data processing technology. Through the detailed analysis, it is pointed out the main problems and facing challenges of IoT data processing. Then the thesis analyses the data processing relevant technologies, from the core technologies to the architecture and terminal sensor nodes of IoT. Furthermore, a detailed introduction of context aware technology which has an important role in the thesis is given.Secondly, we proposed an IoT framework based on intelligent nodes interaction. On the basis of the above analysis, the framework starts with the requirement of IoT data processing, by deriving the sea computing and cloud computing thoughts, and focuses on the intelligent nodes interaction and awareness. In addition, the framework including intelligent discovery of the node and recognition model, and intelligent interactive update model of the nodes'control program. Moreover, the corresponding data processing technology which is suited to the framework is put forward, including context awareness, adaptive coding and modulation and cognitive compression.Thirdly, according to the proposed framework model, a data fusion routing protocol based on context awareness is put forward. In the protocol, the nodes collect its own context information and that of the neighbor nodes, using the fuzzy set theory to analysis the semantic information that the context contained, so that the nodes in the protocol can change its own working state by itself. As a result, the life cycle of the whole network is prolonged and the energy consumption is saved. Besides that, the subordinate context information table is used to replace the routing table in the normal routing protocol, and the nodes can intelligently choice the next-hop.Finally, there is a hardware validation for the IoT framework based on intelligent nodes interaction, and the results prove the feasibility of the presented framework. Moreover, through the Java and Matlab simulation experiments, the performance of the data fusion routing protocol based on context awareness is evaluated. The simulation results show that the protocol has longer life cycle and better energy control than the classical LEACH and MTE protocols.
