Smart Home Monitoring Robot

Since the concept of robots has been generated, various robots with different functions have been developed out. It is hoped that the robot can help people work, so that people can free from their large heavy work.With the development of accelerated aging of the population, more and more elderly need to be taken care of, but because the faster pace of life, young people don't have enough time to take care of the elderly. This paper is based on the idea and designs a smart home Monitoring robot, which can help us in everyday life.This paper use image processing technology to track human movement and detect the body falls; using the improved CamShift algorithm to track the moving human body; using voice recognition technology to judge strangers break in; using fuzzy control method to maintain the robot's vision; while using simple the obstacle avoidance algorithm which enables the robot patrol freely. This paper's main achievement is the function of robot cruise automatically, function of monitoring the elderly when they falling down, functions of detecting the breaking stranger.
