To produce digital receiver has become practical with the rapid development of the software radio and digital technology. There are some advantages, such as high phase resolution favorable channel uniformity,finer anti-interference ability and flexible configuration comparing with the traditional simulative IF receiver. In radar EW and reconnaissance, it has been more widely used. So it is very significant to research High-Performance digital receiver for modern complex electromagnetic environment and requirement of every kinds of radio receiver.The thesis focuses on correlative technology and theory of the IF digital receiver. The digital receiver with five channels has been produced based on theory research. The following content are researched in this paper.To the question that PRS received random width pulses, the design method of pulse width matched filters and its model are proposed. The signals with different pulse width are disposed with different filters, the gain of SNR is improved under the circumstance of wide pulse.Method of instantaneous frequency measurement is researched in the thesis, theory and simulation analysis to frequency estimation based on Prony,FFT and Rife has been studied, a improved algorithm to rife method is proposed, it is more precise in frequency measurement.Recognition method of In-pulse signal modulation style is studies. A rough signal classification is introduced based on the analysis of signal characteristic of common used pulse compression radar. Then the recognition methods to the signal of PSK and style of FM are presented, including recognition method to the signal of PSK based on time domain instantaneous totting-up self-correlation and style of FM based on time domain method. Corresponding matlab simulation is made to analysis these algorithms, they play good performances.The design of five channels IF digital receiver and its hardware implementation are introduced in the end. It is very detailed to account for the design of project and circuit,choice of the parts of apparatus and software program. The project is validated by result of testing to system. It has some advantages, such as real time,efficient,lower power and has certain practical value.
