As radar plays a more and more important role in modern war,the radar countermeasures has become a key link in electronic warfare.Radar countermeasure includes two aspects,they are radar scout and radar interference.Radar scout is the process of detecting and receiving the radioactive source signal in the battlefield to guide jamming.The traditional radar scout system mainly uses the digital receiver to measure parameters,sort and identify the signal.This is universal for all signals,but it is not the best way if it has a transcendent condition.The matched filter is the best linear filter with the maximum signal to noise ratio.This paper presents a new idea,using signal information of the database,and applying matched filter to scout system to deal with specific signal.It could improve processing speed and scout performance.This paper firstly introduces the principle of matched filter.Then describing three common radioactive source signals,which are single frequency signal,LFM signal and phase coded signal.The LFM and phase coded signals are large time-bandwidth product signals,which have good distance and velocity resolution and can be effectively compressed by matching filter.The papers simulates and analyzes on them.Then the paper introduces the process of traditional scout receiver to receive and process known signals,and raises a new receiving thought.The specific method of This idea is to use the parameters stored in the signal database to compound the particular matched filter to receive interested signals.However,because the previous parameter measurement has deviation,so the signal and the filter isn't completely matched.This paper mainly discusses the scout performance of the matched filter under the special condition which is in the presence of initial frequency,pulse width,frequency modulation slope deviation and bit error rate.Finally this chapter introduces the concept of ambigulty function,and using the radar ambiguity function to analyzes the radar signal waveform characteristics and the performance of the matched filter.Finally,this paper introduces the traditional scout and then presents a new scout method—based on signals sample scout and identification.According to the recurrent characteristic of the radioactive source signal,receives the signal and stores it as a matched filter for later one.This method is not applicable to all the conditions of the signal,if the stored signal's quality is good,you can achieve the function of matching filter,but if the quality is bad,it can not be effective receiving the scout signal,the paper has simulated and analyzed on it.
