Although many theoretical breakthroughs have been made in the recent years in the field of NDT of aluminum alloy sheet, the traditional experimental platforms for the study of the destruction in aluminum alloy sheet are not suitable for the wide use in industry, transportation and the other high-tech areas because of their huge demands of equipments, complicate procedures and high costs.Time reversal method can achieve the acoustic adaptive focusing by acoustic time reversal and sending again, and then we can determine the size and the location of the defect by the focused wave. In this paper we design and implement the NDT software by combining time reversal method with NDT theory. The software has practical significance for its successful implementation of the NDT software for aluminum alloy sheet which transfers data by the USB interface.This paper gives the experimental study of time reversal method and the overall design of the system, designs the overall process of the software system and implementation method of time reversal method and implements the function of the NDT software system for aluminum alloy sheet. It also describes and analyzes the time reversal technique, PC application development technology and the operation mechanism under MFC framework. The design of the software system is based on the STM 32 processor and the Windows XP operating system, and the system consists of USB driver, USB applications, client software interface, client applications, etc. Software programming implements the USB driver, the data transfer of the USB interface, the client interface and the specific functional modules. The specific functional modules include waveform selection module, sending wave display module, data transmission module, data acquisition module, import and export of the data of Excel module, data analysis module, received waveform display module, data processing module and print module.After the overall test, we verify the NDT system designed for aluminum alloy sheet achieves the time reversal function and other basic functions of the NDT system for Aluminum alloy sheet.
