In the industrial process control, boiler is a common and important research subject. This paper not only focuses on the analysis of the industrial boiler process and production, and also introduces the boiler control difficulty. According to the control requirements and purpose of a thermal power plant boiler in Yang Zhou city, this paper designs the boiler control plans and form, and puts forward an effective solution of the control system, designs the system's DCS system, realizes the whole optimization of the device.This paper starts from the angle of control, make a very important drum water level control system of the boiler control as the sole object of study, and goes over its control characteristics, use cascade three impulse algorithm to realize the control of the drum water level, and the structure and control principle will be go into detail. With HOLLIAS MACS control system as the boiler control system, using MACS real-time interface, alarm operation, record history data and fault diagnosis to know the boiler real-time control, improving the boiler control quality fast and effectively. This paper discusses the structure and system network structure HOLLIAS MACS control system, and finish the control of the system's hardware configuration, give to the selection and configuration of this design's module. This paper makes with the lower computer software configuration and upper computer software configuration for the control system do. Among them, the lower level computer software configuration includes system unit configuration, IO point configuration, conventional control scheme configuration, custom control scheme configuration, upper computer software configuration includes monitoring menu configuration, security management, configuration transmitted and Download. And then it presents the operational aspect of the designed DCS system.The system operation results show that the designed DCS system is safe and reliable ,which can operate steadily, and has been reached the control performance index of the system. In order to further increase the output, to reduce energy consumption and material consumptions and to improve labor productivity, this article will apply the adaptive fuzzy PID control technology into the key links of the system. In addition, this paper also will establish a mathematical model of the link, and will accomplish a simulation study by using the Matlab software, and provide the simulation results. The simulation results prove that the feasibility of adaptive fuzzy PID applications putting into the system, which has strong instruction meaning for the further research.
