Higher Vocational Education as an important branch of higher education, is gaining more space and showing greater vitality in pushing forward the development of economics, science and technology, talents and education etc.In an era of IT revolution, the knowledge and technology is advancing each day, the students of higher vocational education institutes need not only to master strong vocational skills, but also posses the ability to study, communicate and cooperate,in order to adapt to an ever-changing environment. Considering that at present the vocational students are weaker than university students in the aspects of studying ability and comprehensive quality, by making changes to old teaching methods, designing new teaching process, making the process of teaching and learning more efficient in improving the studying ability and comprehensive quality of vocational students, this is a pressing problem to be solved and also should be an effective way of improving the teaching quality of higher vocational education,The author made pertinent research through collecting and analyzing the documents of cooperative study. Based on the characteristics of computer science and psychology the students of higher vocational education, through behavioral research, experiments, documents analyze and interview, take into consideration the present teaching situation of computer fundamentals in our college, the author try to show the necessity and effectiveness of adopting the mode of"Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate". Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode take into consideration of all students of different levels, incented their study motivation, and improved their academic grades and raised their collective responsibility. The practices prove that, Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode can effectively help the students to obtain the ability to self-study self-cultivate. By comparison of the data before and after the experiment, we have found that the Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode is suitable to the course of Computer Application Fundamentals in higher vocational college, the interest of study, cooperation, interpersonal skills and professional skills of the experiment class are apparently better than the controlled class.Implementing the Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode in the course of Computer Application Fundamentals is only a try, there are many aspects need to be improved. For example, in the Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode it is very hard to stimulate the study interests in every class, and sometimes it is hard to pay attention to individual differences between students. Constrained by time and conditions, the time this experiment being conducted is not long, although there is teaching effects, but we still need lot of teaching practices to prove this from different aspects and levels, to make this mode of teaching become more scientific and reasonable from contents to organization. The Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode has positive influences on the study interest, interpersonal relationship, and academic grade, how to give the excellent students more space to show, and give the middle-class students are well trained, and the weaker students are helped and improved, and ultimately every students can improve on their bases. And more on-going research and practices need to be conducted in future on the Loop Self-Study Self-Cultivate teaching mode,and construct comprehensive and applicable mode of study that suits the teaching of Computer Application Fundamentals in higher vocation colleges.
