A Wireless Monitoring System Design Based On LabVIEW

Wireless sensor network is a production of computer technology, communications technology and sensor network technology combined with each other. It is one of the hot Internet sector. Technology for wireless sensor networks have many species (such as Bluetooth technology, infrared technology and ultra wideband wireless communication technology, etc.) to promote the development of wireless sensor networks.Using LabVIEW for development are usually based on LabVIEW data acquisition boards are supported above the MCU through the wireless communication module system for remote communication with the host computer, reducing the system cost, while the wireless data transmission.A real time temperature detecting system is designed based on virtual instrument. The system uses LabVIEW8.6 as software design platform, and low power cc2430 as hardware core. The system acquires temperature signal on site and digital temperature sensor, and communicates with PC through ZigBee wireless communication. In software platform, temperature signal is displayed, analyzed and saved. The designed system features low power, high precision, friendly interface , simple operation and good extensibility with low cost .
