Design And Implementation Of Expert System-Based English CAI System

Rule-based expert system is a good prospect branch of artificial intelligence. Using expert system theory with data mining technology and the Internet platform, we can achieve a multiplier effect in college English teaching and research work,.This paper introduces the principles, development and applications of artificial intelligence, and give a set of solutions for difficulties of English teaching. That is using data mining technology and artificial intelligence to achieve a set of English expert system. For the different users, the system includes two parts:First, rule-based expert system, which is aimed at teachers of users, the module frame and production use a combination of knowledge. The knowledge of English points are classified and summarized, using the Apriori algorithm to analyse relationship of questions; second is to use existing data to summarize defects of students'knowledge, so that students can practice with clear objectives. Finally, the system has been developed after system outline design and detailed design. At present, this system has been achieved on the base of integrated development environment Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database implementation, the operation environment is for the Windows 2000/XP or later X86 system. After extensive testing and operation by lots of data, the system can give reasonable conclusion. The system has a good prospect.
