Web-Based Cai System

With the rapid development of information technology, the computer network technologies has been integrated into the computer aided instruction, and get expanded rapidly in the campus network, LAN, Wan and Internet. Currently, computer aided instruction is developing for diversity, intelligence and network, that is networked-computer aided instruction, which is the combination of Multimedia courseware and network technology. It is not simply to offer the function for downloading the multimedia courseware but through releasing the multimedia courseware in the form of Web pages in network environment, the networked-computer aided instruction has good characteristics of interaction and dynamic, which make multimedia courseware more developing and popular in Internet.The data structure is a basic and important course for computer professional student. In order to study data structure, the students have to understand and master the algorithm which is not only wide varieties but also hard to understand. In the paper, duo to the existing courseware system can not solve the problem good, a networked computer aided instruction system is designed and developed for the course of data structure based on the Web in order to better help students to understand and master the course.First, the design background and meaningful of implement for the networked-computer aided instruction are introduced in the paper, and then, the system overall design is provided based on the demand analysis of the system, and finally all function of the system are achieved. In demand analysis part, feasibility analysis, the needs for system web site, the demand for multimedia courseware and the analysis for system performance are given, and the UML model for system is established. In system overall design part, each module of the specific design, the system development tools and development platform environment are given, respectively, based the demand analysis, and the database design is completed. Finally, in system implement part, the realization method for two constitute of the system (Web site system and multimedia courseware system).In the paper, the aided instruction system based Web for data structure is implemented in good interface. For the system, the development environment is VS2005, the development platform if NET, and the mode is B/S. The multimedia courseware using Flash MX is successfully released to the system. The backend database is SQL Server2005 and can be visit through ADO which is good portability and efficient.
