Simulation is one of the applications of basic science except of theoretical analysis and scientific experiments. Its technology and related products are with good controllability, non-destructive, economic and reliable, etc. Simulation is widely used in design, development of all aspects of product research. As simulation technology branch, the Hardware-in-the-loop simulation, not only have the unique advantage of simulation technology, and because of the introduction of physical equipment, greatly improving the simulation of confidence in the telecommunications, military, aerospace and other fields has been more and more attention. In this thesis, the relevant backgrounds to start research on the use of Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation technology to the PSTN to network vulnerability studies were innovative and exploratory research.The main results are as follows:1. Based on HLA-RTI interface of Hardware-in-the-loop simulation technology, opnet modeling technology, the ss7 protocol and security vulnerability and related theory are deeply discussed in this thesis. The PSTN Hardware-in-the-loop simulation platform construction scheme and PSTN networks vulnerability testing scheme are formed.2. According to the construction project, realize the HLA-RTI Hardware-in-the-loop simulation interface, the ss7protocol data acquisition platform based on PSTN opnet and of the network simulation model.3. In the construction scheme to achieve process, we successively broke through the ss7 data collection technology, use RTI interface of real side equipment and simulation model of the collaborative simulation technology, and the ss7 nodes modeling technology and contains a number of large-scale network node signaling modeling technology.4. According to the test plan, we use signal tester, digital program-controlled switch equipment and material such as signaling network simulation to finish the simulation research of the system functions, transmission delay and the weakness of PSTN. The test results show that the hardware and the software with the combination of PSTN simulation system can very good simulation the system of a certain scale PSTN. And it has the very high real-time and standard.The applications of this system, not only improve the PSTN the authenticity of the network simulation, and still can solve in the PSNT vulnerability analysis process, pure software to the construction of the target environment authenticity is poor, build the physical environment is expensive, can greatly reduce on network weakness analysis of resource cost.
