Employees'training is one of the most important works of enterprises management for its vital role in the development of enterprises. After years of development, the form of training has changed a lot——from the internal training, training provided by special training agent, to more diversified forms. Among them, online training and electronic class are booming recently. There are lots of shortcomings in traditional enterprises trainings, like limited content, low efficiency, lack of personalized and pertinent content, difficulties in whole process management of training, etc. However, the mature computer technology and Internet technology provide a good solution to all above questions. Online Training (including electronic class system), also called Web-based Training, is a kind of training conducted on companies'Intranet, Extranet or Internet portal. In the online training, courses are stored on certain training web sites by teachers and can be accessed by trainees all over the world through their web browser. This is quite different from the traditional trainings. Students scattered everywhere needn't be present in a physical classroom. As long as they have necessary equipments, they can accept trainings without leaving their home. Teachers could get students' feedback quickly and instantly through all sorts of network communication applications, which make them to understand the outcome of students better.This thesis is based on the demands of training of Deyang power bureau as well as those of online training, self-teaching, and online communication. The application uses the Microsoft .NET technology and B/S model to develop an electronic class information system for Deyang power bureau. Because object-oriented method has lots of advantages, like the uniform description and seamless link in processes of system analyzing, designing, and coding, it is chosen to be the developing method of the application. A bunch of object-oriented tools are used. These tools include Microsoft Visual studio.net 2005 and MS SQL Server 2005 database management system, etc. Finally, software based on B/S mode and three layers structure, including the presentation layer, business logic layer and data access layer, is developed. This application mainly realizes the following functions: news of learning, online learning classroom, electronic material classroom, communication classroom, online examination, and system maintenance and management. The work of the thesis is of positive significance to form an efficient and convenient system to manage staff training content online as well as to promote, to some degree, the utilization of resources and the training efficiency.
