Power Line Inspection is the basic work to ensure the safe operation of power transmission lines, to improve power transmission system reliability and reduce the incidence of power line fault. With the changes in technology brought about by the advancement of science and technology, power line inspection work has been brought the new the development impetus, but at the same time it will face new problems. the one GPS and GIS technology will be the trend of next generation mobile technologies; the other hand, the traditional way of manual inspection has the disadvantages: human factors more, management inconvenience, and so on. Now there are many limitations in the intelligent automated inspection technology proposed by man in recent years, so it is an important problem that how to improve the circuit checking management level and to ensure effectively the line safe.Aimed at the development trends of the domestic and foreign today, the thesis describes in detail the basic principle of the intellectual transmission line inspection system using Geography Information System(GIS)and Global Position System(GPS)technology to realize PDA,GPS receiver,background management PC, to realize intelligent integrated transmission line inspection system by the computer and network communication technology as a whole.In this thesis, we introduce the principle of system design, the choice of development platform and the specific design. Main work of the thesis includes system requirements analysis, system logic composition, and we also introduce the functional module design based on system functional requirements. After determining the basis of the design goals, we give the detail design of each function module. Finally, the system is tested to achieve an accurate inspection information, specifications, rapid entry, and inspection information on effective management to ensure the quality inspection and effectively reduce the fault. The goal is to ensure the safe operation of the line.The thesis realizes the circuit inspection lines system based on the .net, C/S structure as the foundation, using the SQL Mobile as the database and c# as the development language , the subsequent the test analysis is done and the reasonable suggestions is put forwards. Owing to the advantages of high reliability,practicality and scalability,the practical application of this intellectual inspection system shows that it completely meets the requirements for fast speed,high efficiency and real-time performance. Then it can improve power efficiency and operational quality of the inspection system for more accurate fault location, flexible display which can help to analyze and make decisions.
