In recent years. it has appeard a kind of TV program that the audience like. This is story TV program. A series of story programs win the audience rating competition such as Legend y. Followed by a continuous growth of its influence, the provincial and municipal TV stations have launched their own story programs. A hot wave of story programs swept over the chinese public. The story TV program is closely related with social status and spiritual ecology of chinese present period. Story has now became the mainstream form of TV program development. The main feature of such program is story-telling. It originated in story-telling of documentary film and news story, events are constructed of suspense and conflicts, seek story and sense of drama of the plot.Story TV program is a new form of programs. This paper will do research and analysis on Legend which is the representative of story programs from media culture perspective. There are not so many researches on story programs at present time, particular from media culture perspective. There are many gaps to be filled. This paper is divided into five parts. The first part briefly describes the background of topics, significance and sample selection. The second part describes the origin, characteristics and status of story programs. The third part to elaborate on the media culture. The fourth part is the"legend"program overview. The fifth part, stresses the media cultural infiltration of Legend. Doing content analysis from the above aspects, and injected theoretical knowledge into specific program, Illustrate the problem in simple language. To provide theoretical value for the research of story programs.
