Database is a computer system technology used to organize, store and manage data warehouses. It is aslo an important branch of computer science and the core of the computer system. Distributed Interactive Simulation is an important application of database. It can set the simulation step, including simulation model, simulation analysis and simulation replay away from the effectively manage of database. With the expansion of the scale of simulation, the simulation system become more urgent requirement of temporal data storage and management, cased by real-time transmission of data, simulation fidelity and simulation data replay,traditional database technology gradually exposed some limitations and deficiencies. Temporal database is a new branch of the database,its temporal information management capabilities can highly effective support the management for the temporal information of simulation system. It has an important prospect on the simulation research.In order to achieve the real-time, efficient and unified management of data processing during the simulation process, this paper makes a research on the method of setting up a temporal database by opto-electrical countermine simulation system, based on the in-depth study of temporal database. The System is both an exploratory research on the application of temporal database, but aslo a new way in the process of data management while simulation. It plays an important role in the data management of large-scale distributed simulation systems.At first, this paper analyzes the development of temporal database at home and abroad, and discusses the advantage of managing the simulation data by temporal database, compared to the relational database. And then combines with the rule of data distribution under HLA, elaborates the storage structure, method and import policy of simulation data collection system by the aspects of data selection, collection, storage and search. Based on it, this paper builds a timestamp-based temporal data model, and defines four relational calculus about it. Based on this model, the paper studies the method of fast storage and accessing during the simulation process, proposes a dynamic memory index structure. Experiments show the index can effectively reduce the system I/O reads, save the memory space and improve the efficiency of data query during the process of simulation. Finally, based on the theory, this paper develops a temporal dabase system by Oracle, using the existing temporal database tools. and analyzes the system performance and data access speed.
