In recent years, intelligent car development and research become popular. Intelligent control theory and technology is more and more applied in transportation engineering, smart car cover intelligent control, pattern recognition, sensor technology, electrical, electronic, computer, mechanical subject knowledge.smart car research has an important significance in improving students' research capacity and social benefits.On the background of "Smart Car Race by National Students in University", this paper studies a set of the control system of intelligent vehicle, which makes the intelligent car able to independently identify the track, automatically adjust the speed and steering and succeed in the completion of the game.The issue is about the control system of intelligent vehicle, expounding the principles of system design, hardware design and software design. The control system of intelligent vehicle consists of the recognition of the track, the detection of the speed, the central control, the implementation and the debugging. As the core controller is MC9S12XS128, the system shows the track information by the photoelectric sensor, and then according to the track information, combime with PID control and bang-bang control, when the deviation is relatively large use a bang-bang control,when the deviation is relatively small use PID control, control the steering angle and motor speed, with a single-chip C language programming,the intelligent car could be able to independently identify the track through a certain algorithm for speed control and steering control, so it succeed in the competition.
