With the improvement of quality of life, more and more anglers prefer to go to the ocean for fishing. As an individual detection device, embedded detectors have been widely used in all aspects of people's lives. The researches which improve the overall performance of the detector, increase market share, enhance the quality of life; have developed toward a more precise direction.In order to meet the needs of the community, this paper presents a portable fish detector system. However, existing fish detection equipment are based on the PC, to achieve acquire, analysis and display the sound signal. So this equipment is expensive, complicated to install, and not conducive to carry. There are a number of manufactures who have also introduced a number of fish detectors with intelligent algorithm system, but the analysis algorithm for solving the data is not very mature. On one hand, it employs core board and floor separated method to make the hardware system become more modular, stability higher. On the other hand, this device can solve the return fish echo and sea echo, accurately determine the location of fish, and also have marine GPS function. It not only enhances the pleasure of fishing on the ocean, but also provides security for the fishing enthusiasts. Based on the analysis and summary of recent studies, this paper carries out the following study:Firstly, it put forwards the design of the system program after analyzed the characteristics of embedded fish detector.Secondly, it proposes the hardware design and realization of each module of an intelligent portable detection system, based on the S3C2440 ARM9 processor chip and WinCE operating system. After full account of the signal anti-interference, it completed hardware layout and the connection of hardware PCB.Thirdly, it is accurately established a calculation fish mode. Achieve the main framework of analytic method for fish detectors, mainly simulated the fish echo and sea echo, established a fishery and seabed echo module solving, correctly reflect the echo by the way of mapping the location information.Fourthly, it is analysised and planed the process of the entire software, the GPS navigation and sonar detection are separately designed. It planes and achieves the specific implementation plan of the various modules and the mutual communication between modules. The system performance is simulated and tested.Finally, it is briefly summarized the whole thesis, and proposed some suggestions to further research.
