Wireless Sensor Network is a synthetical study of modern sensor technology, communication technology, microelectronics technology, embedded computing technology and distributed information processing technology, and it has been widely applied in the collection of environmental information, which has been the research focus in the recent years. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is widely used in the identity of the target object in the automatic identification systems. In many practical applications, only can collect the correct identity information and the environmental information, system can make the effective decision. WSN system can't identify identity while RFID system can't perceive environmental information. The paper proposes a new WSN system embedded with RFID combining theoretical study and practical research. The main work and achievements are as follows:1. The paper designes an active RFID tag based on the RF SOC nRF24LE. It presents the method of a new network node combination based on WSN technology with active RFID tag integrated in the physical layer. The experiments show that the date code, calibration algorithm and anti-collision are implemented. The software is compiled for identify the active RFID tag.2. With MSP430 series microprocessor as the core, the paper designes the RFID unit, sensor unit and calorie unit. The WSN system is designed by combining the RFID unit and the sensor reader. The functions are researched and the relevant software is finished, the information of reader is adjusted, the environment information is collected, the active RFID tag is read.3. The paper develops the upper management software for storage applications, which can collect, store and analyse data. The station and time can be calibrated through serial port, potentially extended the applications.
